The SBC – AT&T Website Simply Blows!

Just in case you ever need to establish service with SBC or what is now AT&T, you may want to make a note of this information.  This info will potentially save you over 40 minutes looking for the correct number only to find it buried as a very small text link inside of a pop-up window.

Customer Service and Support Center (English or Spanish):
1-866-999-6181
Monday through Friday: 8 am to 7 pm Central
Saturday: 9 am to 6 pm Central

To SBC:  Look I get it is expensive to maintain call centers, but when your fancy dandy automated address verification tool does not work, you really should make it a little easier for potential new customers to find a number with a human on the other end!

Just to make sure I was not completely out of line I tried my standard on the Verizon website and sure enough five clicks, and BAM a phone number with a live attendant…total process three minutes.

Same exercise with Sprint; even better this time three clicks and WAMO…live attendant here we go.

Am I wrong to expect more?

I’ll bet you don’t have one of these…

Ok, I know Christmas has come and gone, But I’ve wanted to share something for some time so please indulge me. Let me start by noting that Christmas is really only about one gift…the gift of Jesus Christ and the fact that he came to save us!

Now with that said there and understood, lets talk about the bling. ?Now you might think that my most special gift was the iPOD, or tools , or something like that….NOPE.

My best gift can’t really be explained…rather it really need to be experienced. Allow me to introduce “The Super Dooper Reindeer Pooper”

Reindeer-1

Reindeer - 3

Reindeer - 2

That’s right straight from Australia; it’s a Chocolate Jelly Bean Dispenser (at least I hope they’re chocolate: note it is still in the box)…UMMMMMM YUMMMM

I know almost everyone has at least one really whacked friend…I’m misfortunate enough to be able to prove I have one!

Thank you soooo much for my highly coveted gift Jason!

Free Directory Assitance!?!

I found it hard to believe at first, but after checking it out on Snopes…It appears to be true.

I’ve made a couple of calls, and the service seems to work pretty well. Since I use Vonage at home and they charge like two arms and a leg for directory assistance, this is a great alternative to booting up my computer every time I need a number (Yes I have heard of a phone book but I can imagine using one for anything other than a boat anchor).
